Our Story
The Metec Group was established in 2006 to further strengthen the close collaboration between two successful companies in the cathodic protection sector, Metec Italia and Wilson Walton International.
Both companies boast a significant experience in the design, development and production of active cathodic protection and antifouling systems.
Metec is born in Sicilia, Italy as a producer of aluminium, zinc, and magnesium anodes for Cathodic Protection
Metec purchases Wilson Walton Italia, a company formed in 1966 and a global brand in the supply of Cathodic Protection systems
Metec merges officially and Metec Wilson-Walton is founded
Metec UK is opened and begins the setting up of their £1,500,000 investment foundry
2008-Metec open its Tunisia foundry

Founded on the Wilson Walton heritage for onshore and industrial products and services, Metec UK boasts its own design team, a purpose-built foundry with 3 furnaces, its own production, finishing and QC facilities, and teams all part of its skilled and experienced workforce.
